The Unseen (1945)

Directed by Lewis Allen and starring Joel McCrea and Gail Russell. The film follows Elizabeth Howard (Russell), a governess who takes a job in a seemingly quiet house, only to become entangled in a series of eerie events and a mysterious murder in the neighborhood.
