This week marks 20 years since a young woman disappeared. Amber Wilde, a 19-year-old UW Green Bay student, vanished in September of 1998. The case is still active. Wilde was four months pregnant when she went missing. Her car was found in a parking lot near Lambeau Field. Her purse cell phone and keys were inside. Many searches were done around the state in the effort to find Wilde's remains. Green Bay Police have been handling the case. In recent years, two new detectives have taken over the case. “There's a lot of people that have been spoken to over the years. A lot of people have talked to us, some willingly, some refused to talk to us,” says Det. Lee Kingston. “So, it's something that's always there.” In recent years unsealed court documents have revealed persons of interest in Wilde's disappearance. NBC26 is choosing not to name those people as they have not been charged. Detective Lee Kingston says they still get tips and follow-up on all leads. If anyone has any information, call Green Bay Police.
