The Secret Behind Japan's Long Nose Trains

Do you know why only Japan uses this design? You might think it makes them faster, but thats not the reason at all, its all about the unique landscape of Japan and the Japanese way of life - that makes this design choice inspired by birds very important! But Japanese trains did not always look like this, the first High Speed Shinkansen (Bullet Trains) introduced to Japan had flat noses like local trains, but this caused a big problem across the country so it was changed in the 90s to the sleek long pointy noise design we see today.
