Modern footage, some exploring and a lot of history while doing it all. Abandoned company town, totally by 1886 after a massive flood that wiped out many other similar towns counties away. The town had been plauged by floods, and it still so to this day. It's appearance on a 1875 atlas map showed the plat was down to 2 owners. The building was likely built many years before that when the town was active.

Was situated in a nice area with many other company towns within easy walking distance. Triumph Coal was within screaming distance, Jackson was about 1000 feet on the other side of that. Diamondtown, Pattonsville, Kessinger, and Pickletown would've been within easy walking distance of Erie. Ultimately the constant flooding done the town in, and everyone understood why there were no signs of native habitation.
