Cute Baby Is Eating While Dozing Off
This baby is so tired he can’t even stay awake while eating! He’s holding what looks like maybe a graham cracker and takes little, tiny bites while closing his eyes. This is both peaceful and hilarious at the same time! When his head nods down, he just takes another bite.
This baby is so tired he can’t even stay awake while eating! He has a strong hold on his graham cracker cookie, taking tiny bites while fighting to keep his eyes open. This is both peaceful and hilarious at the same time! When his head nods down, he just takes another bite.
He looks like he has found his happy place. Two things babies love to do is sleep and eat, and this hilarious toddler has found a way to do both at the same time. It is clearly way past his bedtime, but he still needs his snack before bed, and although this looks like it is a challenge for the baby, the expression he holds on his tiny face says that he is enjoying every second of it!
It may be the low sound of the television behind him or the low lighting that is making him sleepy, or it may just be that this is his fourth graham cracker cookie and he is going into a food coma, but either way, the child needs his sleep! Watch as he bobs his head up and down, falling asleep and waking up, all the while still eating his cookie! This kid is a champ!
His eyes don't even open his tiny little eyes while he eats. He just peacefully sits there with a small and satisfying smile on his face, nodding in and out of sleep. He has quite the grip on his cookie and does not want to chance to drop it accidentally.
The baby slowly chews his food, enjoying every mouthful while he slides in and out of consciousness. Every time his head nods down because he just cannot keep it up anymore, he takes another bite of the cracker. The baby boy finally opens his eyes when his giggling mother calls is named and asks what he is doing. He responds by taking another huge bite of his graham cracker.
This baby is probably so tired because, at this age, he is not sleeping all the way through the night yet. Infants of this age are still waking up one or two times through the night and still need to have their scheduled naps throughout the day. When they wake up during the night, it is usually because they are hungry and need to eat. This is a prime example of a baby that is both ready for his nap time and hungry and has to eat.
Babies also go through growth spurts often, increasing their appetites and making them hungry more often, requiring more snacking throughout the day. It is pretty common for a baby to spend most of his day taking two to four naps a day, followed by a snack between naps, a snack before bed, and waking up throughout the night to eat. Seems like all babies do at this age is sleep and eat and it looks like this kids a champ at both!
