The only thing that has increased more than homelessness and crime is the size of the government. Economic development schemes designed to fix these problems are only contributing to it. One such program is Urban Renewal and Tax Increment Financing.

The City of NB is asking the NBSD to approve a proposal that would cost the county another $65,000 from the general fund when they are already near insolvent.
