This always happens when tariffs are imposed. Donald Trump's tariffs in 2019 resulted in a period of high inflation, economic stagnation, and a stock market crash. But while the stock market fell 6% in 2018, it recovered in 2019, rallying 28% in one year. The impact from President Trump's tariffs was not unexpected. The United States has a long history of imposing tariffs on imports. And this isn't the first time we've imposed high tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. The same economic indicators that were in place in 2019 are in place today. And this is leading some people to wonder if we're about to have another stock market crash in 2025. If we do get a 2025 stock market crash, the results are expected to be short lived, and this could an incredible dip buying opportunity once again.
