February 2, 2025 - "The Burden of Babylon" (Isaiah 13)

Isaiah 13 begins a section of the book that contains several oracles, or "burdens," that deal with Israel's neighbors. Isaiah predicts not only what will happen to these nations in the near term (which is confirmed by history), but his prophecies also reach into a time that is still the future, even for us in 2025!
