Plant of the Week - MayBee - was offered between February 1, 2025 through February 8, 2025.

MayBee is a member of the Enchant-Mint family.
MayBee costs 300 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 4, 6, 8 and 10.)
When a zombie approaches MayBee, within 3 tiles, she releases two (2) bees. (+1 bee on levels 2, 5, 7 and 9)
These bees last for 10 seconds. (+5 seconds on level 2, +2 on level 4 and level 9, +1 on level 6.)
These bees will attack zombies in a 3x3 area, repeatedly stinging the zombie until it expires or the bees expire.
Each bee sting will stun for 0.5 seconds. (+0.5 seconds on levels 5, 7 and 10.)
Each bee sting will do 20 damage. (+5 damage on levels 3-10.)

Commentary:
Apart from looking like a ripoff of a famous mouse, MayyBee is an interesting plant. It's not your tradition plant which throws a pea, shoots a dart or some sap. But rather releasing bees which handle the zombies.

Bottom line:
While all plants get better as they level up, MayBee is one of those plants that needs to be around level 5 before one starts to see how good this plant can be. At level one, MayBee is more a speed bump and a softener. At level 5, MayBee can start eliminating zombies without support. So as frustrating MayBee is at the start, be patient. She does get better with maturity.
