Posted • February 2, 2025: A 16-year-old murder suspect almost collapses in court and starts crying when a judge tells him he will face charges as an adult and no bond. Gastonia Police Department Sean Simpson shot and killed 16-year-old Zaquavious Dawkins Sunday and attempted to kill a person walking with Dawkins. Prosecutors say Simpson may be indicted as soon as Monday.
