Around 50 firefighters worked through the night to tackle a major fire at one of the world's oldest golf clubs.
The fire broke out at Glasgow Golf Club, in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire yesterday (Thur), with 70 firefighters and ten fire engines rushing to the scene around 9.20pm. Firefighters remained at the historic B-listed clubhouse this morning (Fri), where Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed some of the historic items from the interior were salvaged.
