Skipping the Mangroves for BIG Snook and Redfish! - Part 1

I had an epic day catching snook and redfish up along the mangroves. Fishing the mangroves is a challenge and wears you out quick as the mangroves seem to just reach out and snag your lures forcing you to venture in to retrieve them. But take it from me, if you can tough it out long enough, it will pay off. Prize gamefish like Snook and Redfish love to hangout under the mangroves for the easy access to food and shelter that they provide and if you can get your lure to them, they will surely bite!
