Old roof leads to major leaks inside Detroit's Dixon Educational Learning Academy

"All these schools need to be fixed up," said Artivia Grant whose nine-year-old daughter attends Dixon Educational Learning Academy on Trinity Street near Joy Road on Detroit's west side. A tipster who was inside the school Thursday sent 7 Action News a short video that shows water leaking from the ceiling into a hallway and being caught in a small dumpster and garbage can. The tipster said the affected areas were closed to students but that one teacher slipped and fell.
