One weekend left for Heathers: The Musical

Candice Kogut has a new job, a new show and a new venue to celebrate at the American Repertory Theatre of Western New York. Candice is now artistic director of the theatre company, Their new venue is The Philip Sheridan building at 3200 Elmwood Avenue. The new show is one that has never been performed in the area. Heathers: The Musical is based on the cult classic movie from the 1980's. Candice directed the production and says there are a lot of serious themes in this production including "violence in schools, gun violence, bullying, peer pressure and drugs nd alcohol." Even with all the serious subjects Candice says the show has plenty of humor.
