Michigan Republican State Committee members,

Can I count on you to take a firm pro-gun stance for our upcoming State Convention?

Our last Convention held in Flint was the only State Convention I have ever attended that did not allow our Delegates to lawfully possess firearms.

As the lessee of our upcoming State Convention, you have the power to stand for our 2A rights!

Huntington Place is government owned by (DRCFA) Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority and thus preempted under MCL 123.1101-1105.

They would not be able to enforce their unlawful policy if the State Committee supports lawful firearm possession.

I am asking the State Committee to entertain a motion of support for our 2A Delegates such as:

"Motion to affirm the MRP/MRSC's support for lawful firearm possession by attendees at convention, pursuant to Michigan Law, Article 1, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution, and the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution."
