"Many poets have become soldiers, and many soldiers have become poets" - poetry from the frontlines captures the visceral emotions of the conflict, and resonates with many Ukrainians as the war grinds on to a three-year mark.

We meet poets who write on the frontline, some sound like they could be British WW1 poets, same questioning of war, same fears and anger. They talk about how important it is to show soldiers' emotions, important for them and for civilians to understand.
