64 passengers and crew killed over Washington DC in double air collision

A US military Black Hawk helicopter and a commercial American Airlines plane crashed near Washington, D.C. The American Airlines flight, carrying 64 passengers and crew, had Spencer Lane, a US figure skater, and his Russian mentors onboard. There were no survivors in either crash. The US has shifted its focus from search and rescue to recovery efforts.
