In the DPR, specialists from the International Mine Action Center continue to clear liberated territories of explosive objects in the interests of the Vostok military group. In anti-fragmentation suits and with the help of modern mine detectors, servicemen conduct engineering reconnaissance, demining areas of the terrain.

Unexploded mines, cluster shells, tripwires, and caches are often encountered. When an explosive object is discovered, sappers remove it to a safe place and destroy it with a charge. Since the beginning of the Second World War, the sappers of the International Mine Action Center have already defused tens of thousands of different types of Soviet-made and foreign-made mines.
