Ken Flores - Rising Los Angeles comic star dead at 28

LOS ANGELES — Rising comedian Ken Flores, known for his work in the Los Angeles comedy scene, has died at the age of 28. His family identified him as Kenyi Flores, and he was found dead at his home on Tuesday. No cause of death has been released.

Originally from Chicago, Flores gained recognition performing alongside comedians like Gabriel Iglesias and Jo Koy. He also helped elevate Latino comedians through his “LatinXL” show. Tributes from The Hollywood Improv and fellow comedians praised his talent, generosity, and larger-than-life personality.

“LatinXL WOULD NOT exist without Ken,” a tribute post stated, calling him a force in comedy. The Hollywood Improv added, “You were greatness, and it was only a matter of time until the whole world saw it.”

Fellow comedians, including Bobby Lee and Sampson McCormick, mourned his passing, remembering him for both his humor and kindness.
