How to Backup and Restore Mac machines | BDRSuite Demo

In this BDRSuite demo, I will guide you through configuring backup and performing recovery for files and folders on Mac machines.

Overview:
BDRSuite offers efficient backup solutions tailored for Mac systems, enabling agentless backups that simplify the process of protecting your data. The software provides flexible storage options, along with seamless file and folder recovery, ensuring your critical data is always safeguarded.

How to Get Started:
Step 1: Download and Install BDRSuite Backup Server.

Step 2: Create Backup Repository Configuration
Set up local or remote storage solutions, such as DAS, NAS, SAN, or use public cloud storage options like S3, Azure, or Google Cloud as your backup target.

Step 3: Add Mac as a Data Source
Navigate to the ‘Data Sources - Macs’ section.

Step 4: Configure Mac Backup
-Specify a backup job name and select your backup repository.
-Choose the specific files and folders on your Mac to back up.
-Exclusions (optional): Exclude certain files or folders from backup.
-Schedule backups to run incrementally or as full backups.
-Configure retention policies, and encryption,
-Save the backup job, which will run according to your schedule.
-Manage and monitor backups from the centralized dashboard.

Step 5: File and Folder Recovery
-Navigate to the 'Recovery - Restore Backup Data' menu.
-Select the files or folders you want to restore.
-Choose the Restore Point or timestamp for recovery.
-Specify restore details and initiate the recovery process.
