Super Easy Recipe for Amazing Breadsticks with Delicious Dipping Sauce!

BREAD STICKS with DIPPING SAUCE
Dough
2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dry active yeast
1 1/4 cup warm water
1/8 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cup bread flour

Garlic Parmesan Topping
1/4 cup dry parmesan
1 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix sugar, yeast and warm water together and let it activate for about 8 minutes.
Add olive oil, salt and bread flour
Knead or mix for about 7 minutes
Put dough on a floured surface, form into a ball and let rest 10 minutes
Grease a 9x13 pan heavily with olive oil
Roll dough out the size of your 9x 13 baking pan
Cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours (or put it in the cold oven)

Mix all the topping ingredients and set aside
Cut dough to create your desired size breadstick.
Butter the top - you can use a butter spray as well
Sprinkle a coating of topping on the bread sticks
Bake 475* for 10 minutes
Remove from the oven and butter the tops again.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until done.

DIPPING SAUCE
1 can tomato sauce
1 Tablespoon dry oregano
1 Tablespoon dry basil
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Put all ingredients into a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil - let boil for just a little while being careful of it popping up.
