Pets are amazing creatures that bring so much joy and love into our lives. Sure, they can be a lot of hard work to raise, some might say it is almost like raising a child, but those challenges are heavily outweighed by the positives. You can all agree that once you have a dog in your home is a part of the family, well dogs are family! Not only do we take walks, sleep together with them, play catch with them having a fun time in the backyard, we basically we do everything together with our precious little buddies!

2-year-old Stubby is a street dog who was hit by a taxi driver and rescued on the spot by a loving family. Now he spends his days in a happy home playing with his toys. His favorite, a stuffed panda, is never allowed to be taken off his bed. If so, this will happen!

Remember your first stuffed animal? Some of you probably still have it somewhere in your home, to remind you of the good old days, when all you ever cared about is not misplacing your favorite plushie because sleep didn’t come so easy when you had to sleep alone.

So you cannot blame Stubby for showing such attachment to his new favorite toy. Not only it is squishy and chewy and always at hand, pardon, at mouth, when you need it but after such a traumatized existence, the plaything might be the object of comfort for Stubby. And if you are not the person who likes to go deep into dog psychology, this remains a great toy to keep little pooch busy and have a round of tug of war, mano a mano.

Our pets just love stuffed animals, because no matter how much they love us, their two-legged pack mates, they still need something that somewhat looks and feels like them. There is whole industry out there that provides loving pet owners with a stuffed animal for their furbabies, but what happens when your furball isn’t a ‘standard’ pet for all intents and purposes?

Pets are love and pets are life. Whether you like them or not, you can’t deny the fact that they put some rainbow sprinkles on your day, figuratively speaking. All pets are wonderful, but if there is one species that is able to turn up the party, then it’s definitely our canine friends.
