Where Is The City of Gath? | Episode 2 of Part 2: Goliath

The Bible reveals fascinating context for the story of Goliath. In the second episode of Part 2: Goliath in the “David & The Giants” series, Michael Lane gives us greater context in support of Goliath’s existence by unpacking the giant’s place of origin. According to God's Word, Goliath came from the city of Gath, one of the five royal cities of the Philistines. Gath was unusual compared to other Philistine cities with its massive stones measuring at least two meters, covering 123.5 acres. Today the city of Gath dwells in modern day Israel.
