Bios:
William R. Hincy: “Some people run from their demons; others sit down and have cocktails with theirs.” William R. Hincy is a man who does and writes about the latter. Having become a writer after deciding it was the only sensible thing for a problem drinker to do, Hincy aspires to use literature to connect society on an emotional level through characters who no longer create messes but have instead become the mess. Between rounds, Hincy has won 3 American Fiction Awards and an International Book Award, and his personal anthology of short fiction WITHOUT EXPIRATION was named one of the Best Books of 2020 by Kirkus Reviews. He now lives outside Los Angeles with his wife and kids, having found solace in the notion that the only things sacred are self and whiskey-winged interludes.

D. A. Spruzen grew up near London, U.K., graduated from the London College of Dance and Drama Education, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She teaches writing in Northern Virginia and is past president of the Northern Virginia Writers Club. Her poems and short stories have appeared in many online and print publications. Her new urban fantasy series, “Sleuthing with Mortals,” is well underway. The first book, “The Turkish Connection,” is now available for preorder and will be published in September. The second, “The Witch of Tut,” will come out in early December, and the third, “The Knight, the Gnome, and the Fox,” in February 2024. She is also the author of a historical novel, “The Blitz Business” (set in WWII England), the first two books of The Flower Ladies Trilogy (Not One of Us and Lily Takes the Field), and Crossroads: Two Novellas, and a poetry collection (Long in the Tooth). Dorothy also enjoys the visual arts, working mostly in watercolor, pastels, and acrylics.
