And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son: hear him.” Luke 9:15

The apostles sent forth. The multitude miraculously fed. Peter's testimony to Christ, Self-denial enjoined. The transfiguration of Jesus. Jesus cast out evil spirits. Christ checks the ambition of his disciples. Jesus reproves their mistaken zeal. Everything to be given up for Christ.
