Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – The Ten Kings Are Rising Up

An intriguing dynamic is at play with President Donald Trump. There is the impression that he intends to reign in American adventurism in the world. In other words, the implication in MAGA – Make America Great Again – is that he appears to have somewhat of an isolationist mentality because he doesn’t want the United States projecting power through boots on the ground wherever we happen to decide our noses belong in someone else’s business. In effect, this is a denouncement of what the CIA deems is its role worldwide in fomenting chaos and inciting the overthrow of various governments. If any nation has meddled in the affairs of others, it has certainly been America through our funding of “opposition” groups, rebels, and rogue ideologies. Trump has indicated he wants no more of this act of playing the world’s policeman so that we can place military bases wherever we desire. Let’s have allies whom we support for their democratic ideals, but not vassal states.
