The Trinity is real, and Matthew 28:19 proves it clearly. Jesus said to baptize in the name (singular) of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That means all three are one, not separate gods, but one true God. The early Christians knew this and followed it. The Quran denies it, but history and Scripture confirm it.

Even at Jesus' baptism (Matthew 3:16-17), the Father speaks from heaven, the Holy Spirit descends like a dove, and Jesus stands in the water. All three are there, showing they are one. Paul also confirms it in 2 Corinthians 13:14, blessing believers in the name of all three.

Islam tries to reject this, but it falls apart when examined. If saying "in the name of Allah, Muhammad, and Gabriel" makes Muhammad and Gabriel divine, then the same logic applies when Jesus said "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit"—but Jesus made it clear they share one name, one nature, one God.
