Donald Trump was the first president to launch a memecoin and the US is on the verge of establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

The moves being made in the US are setting an example for the rest of the world.

During the World Economic Forum, I asked South African president Cyril Ramaphosa whether the South African government is considering the merits of a Bitcoin strategic reserve.

With the US on the cusp of establishing a BTC stockpile, countries like South Africa may well follow suit if such legislation is passed.
