Last week, actor Anthony Mackie said a thing or two about Captain America, what he represents -- or rather, what he doesn't represent. A lot of people got upset by the comments, and now he's had to backtrack and clarify and reassure people that he's a proud American and he didn't mean what everyone thinks he meant.

Meanwhile, Alex Kurtzman continues to demonstrate that he really doesn't understand Star Trek and shouldn't be the guy in charge of the franchise. And the studio may have taken notice of this as well, finally.
