"Annoying And Woke" Marketing Ploy? Or Sincere Fear From Spider-Man VA

Maybe I'm being paranoid here, but the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Voice actors saying his biggest fear was the show would be "Annoying And Woke" right after Anthony Mackie dropkicks his own face of about Captain America seams awfully coincidental. Me thinks studios are looking for confirmation that progressivism is indeed on the way out.
