Campaigning housewife Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull discusses a seeming paradox with an Australian caller. People can turn up on a beach in the south-east of England in a dingy or small boat, usually from France (a safe country) with no identity documents, claim asylum, and be put up in hotels at taxpayer expense.

On the other hand, someone like her who is perceived to be “right wing” has to queue for hours and subject herself to intensive questioning simply to visit the United States or Australia for a short speaking tour.
