Info from Licensor: "Spotted this female Red Kangaroo on the road in Central Australia whilst on my first leg of a 3 day tour with The Rock Tour who I guide for. As always I pulled over to remove the roo from the road and if female, check the pouch for a Joey. There was a very small joey inside, which I removed and took with me to Erldunda where I organised to have it transported to Wildcare in Alice Springs where it would have the best chance at survival. After some initial hope, unfortunately it passed away 5 days later. A sad ending, but at least we tried.
Hopefully the next rescue will have a better result. In the mean time folks, please slow down for wildlife."
