The FBI just raided this 26 year old's apartment, but it made him a legend.
This is Shayne. He built a website where people can place bets on anything. From aliens, to nuclear war, to politics. You might've seen his website correctly predict the US elections hours in advance. People think that's why the FBI raided him.

But that's not the whole story.

You see, the US Department of Defence and CIA both spent millions on their own prediction markets. So even though they are scary accurate, prediction markets are not illegal. The FBI's problem is that this specific market, is uncontrollable.

Shayne built this on the decentralised Ethereum blockchain. On there, anyone can create markets faster than governments can regulate them. So since it's threatens power.
