Welcome to the Orthodox Ethos. I’m grateful to God that you are here in search of ways to better commune with the Truth and Light of the world, Jesus Christ, Who is All in All in His Body, the Church. I’m Fr. Peter Heers, an Orthodox priest, author and the founder and head of Uncut Mountain Press, and the creator of The Orthodox Ethos.

We are a collective effort of nearly a dozen Orthodox Christians ordained and lay. Our purpose is to present and support the Orthodox truth, way and life, which is Christ Himself. All of our work - from the publications of Uncut Mountain Press, to our lectures, interviews, podcasts, and original articles on our blog are among the subject matter of our ongoing work.

Our lecture series such as On Orthodox Ecclesiology, The Book of Revelation, Russia's New Martyrs and the Mystery of Christ: An Athonite Catechism are some of our most important online productions. We welcome you to become a member and join our community for our online courses, including Father Seraphim Rose’s Orthodox Survival Course, and On The Divine Liturgy, as well as our weekly Q&A sessions and more.

Our approach to membership is different and unique. There are no membership tiers with levels of rewards. Access to all content is given to all patrons irrespective of their monthly donation amount. This is our way of assimilating and implementing the spirit of the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard (Mt. 20: 1-16). Everyone offers whatever he desires, for the sake of the Truth of Christ and the upbuilding of the brethren, and all share in the same benefits.
