Gunfire heard as soldiers walk inside Goma's airport in DRC

Social media video released on Monday (January 27) captured the sound of gunfire and showed soldiers walking on a paved road inside the Goma airport in Democratic Republic of Congo. In the worst escalation of a long-running conflict for more than a decade, Rwandan-backed rebels marched into eastern Congo's largest city on Monday and the U.N. said they were supported by at least some regular Rwandan troops.
