Aside all the vocal warm ups and breathing techniques, there are other habits you can develop to improve your vocals.
Firstly, drinking warm room temperature water helps to lubricate your vocals cords. It is even better when you add a few drops of honey.
Additionally, frits with a high content of water helps to improve your vocals. Fruits such as apples, watermelons, melons, oranges and grapes help to lubricate your voice.
Bananas are good for your voice in the long term. However, they are not so kind to you vocals just before you perform. This is because it produces extra mucus which coats your throat which makes it difficult to sing at your best.
