Hungary lifted its veto threat, allowing the EU to renew its sanctions against Russia for another six months.

The sanctions, aimed at depriving Moscow of revenue to fund its war, include bans on oil, coal, and luxury goods, as well as freezing €210 billion from Russia’s Central Bank.
