1-26-25 Resist Worldliness (James 4:7-10)

The word submit is a difficult word for people. To submit to someone means that you totally surrender everything and that you are not in control of anything. That's not human nature is it? The heart of man is to be in control of everything and to have others submit to them. Humanity has a big problem with pride, control, and power. We don't like it when someone has power and control over us and submitting to authority can be difficult. Yet in verse 7 we are told to submit to God. What does this word submit mean?
