One of the inspectors general fired by President Donald Trump last week expressed concern to CNN about who will replace him, warning that “nominating and appointing political lackeys” would harm Americans. Mark Greenblatt, who worked for the Department of the Interior, emphasized that it’s important that inspectors general are “independent” and “not beholden to a political party.” #CNN #News
