Exodus 34:6-7

And the Lord passed in front of him, proclaiming, "The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation."

Luke 23:34

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

  • Stef really has become another mad hatter of sorts of podcasts. Gone are the indepth 4 hour presentations his fans all enjoyed loyally, and now we have short Alex Jones like videos, and edited repeats so proflific, one could think they were produced by battery hens. Never picked him for a bible guy though, then again all Jevv subverse's seems to be 'sermoning on the mount' recently.

  • Thank you, Stefan. I think your results show your strong desire to find virtue, logic, and love in a world where you did not see that modeled to you. I think you were God blessed as you navigated through some very ugly things that happened to you, due to people NOT following His instructions, and I think you were God blessed *due* to your strong desire to find virtue, logic, and love in this world, though you saw very little, but you had faith that existed. God IS Love. You were seeking Him, His order in a world of chaos, and His logic. 1 John 4:8 KJV, Deuteronomy 4:29 KJV and Psalm 27:10 KJV pertain, in my opinion. I believe you knew this existed and sought it because you already decided God and His rules are reasonable, in the Biblical first age. That means that satan, also, knows who you are and he attacked every weak link around you, and you, as a child, to try to stop you in your mission of helping others to see how logical God's Way is. The interesting word in Exodus 34:7 KJV is "visiting". People seem to think that He is the one who brings the "iniquity" onto the 3rd and 4th generations. He is not. The word in the original language = H6485 = pāqaḏ = pay attention to, attend to - the "iniquity" is what harms the children, not God. He attends to their wounds caused by satan in this world, IF they are seeking Him/Love. He actually promises to double bless innocent victims of harm done by satan through others who are victims of satan as well, Job 42:7-10 KJV, Isaiah 61:7 KJV. Exodus 34:7 KJV Keeping H5341 mercy H2617 for thousands, H505 forgiving H5375 iniquity H5771 and transgression H6588 and sin, H2403 and that will by no means H5352 clear H5352 the guilty; visiting H6485 the iniquity H5771 of the fathers H1 upon the children, H1121 and upon the children's H1121 children, unto the third H8029 and to the fourth H7256 generation. visiting = H6485 = pay attention to, attend to

  • It's not taught a lot that Jesus, our Greatest Teacher, taught ALL of Psalm 22, authored by God, written down by King David a thousand years prior, as it was ALL happening to Him at the cross. He started at the beginning of Psalm 22 and taught to the end of it, *he hath done this* being the equivalent of *it is finished*, meaning His great work and ministry of outreach during His flesh life. Psalm 22:18 KJV is the equivalent of Luke 24:34 KJV. God had accurately predicted, 1k years prior, and it was written, what His enemies would do and the Romans unknowingly brought it to pass exactly as was written. He was not convicted by Roman law, He was not convicted by His own Law. Pilate KNEW Jesus was being framed by an envious group. Matthew 27:24 KJV When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. The Roman soldiers did not know God's Word as they brought it to pass as written and this gave more credibility. This is unlike the few people in key positions of judgment in God's House, who let satan work through them and broke God's Law against false witnesses framing innocents, in order to frame Jesus, Matthew 26:59-60 KJV. John 9:41 KJV pertains to this differing accountability to God. Psalm 22:1 KJV [[To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.]] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? Matthew 27:46 KJV And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Psalm 22:31 KJV They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that *he hath done this*. John 19:30 KJV When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, *It is finished*: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

  • You are right, Stefan. God's Word is all about teaching how to judge, righteously, versus judging in an unrighteous way. People judge everything all the time, with or without trying to be pleasing to God. Jesus WAS talking about just those soldiers, NOT the ones who sat in God's House, claimed to know God's Word, framed Jesus, Matthew 26:59-60 KJV, and were acting as judges under God's Law while breaking God's Law against false witnesses in courts framing innocents, Deuteronomy 19:16-21 KJV. Jesus was NOT talking about them. Jesus did NOT ask God to forgive them. They will answer to God directly for their own non-repented for sins and Jesus had prior explained this concept in a parable about stewards of a lord's house. Luke 12:47 KJV And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. You explained the discernment perfectly, in my opinion. Thank you, Stefan. I really enjoy hearing a moral man digging in and contemplating what God said in His Word. I think you come from a position of solidly defending virtue and logic which gives you a stronger foundation than some churches who get so wrapped up in sayings, they have strayed off the logic and virtue bumper rails when teaching what God said. Acts 17:11 KJV These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
