ONE INCOMPETENT GOVERNMENT AFTER ANOTHER

One incompetent government after another fails to move the income tax thresholds.

They freeze them so that, whilst they can announce there is no tax rate increase, they can collect more tax because inflation, which they create, brings people more income which is more highly taxed.

The government could easily pay the cost of moving these thresholds and relieve many millions of people from the cost of living burden somewhat by not paying interest on the money that it prints, like almost every other country in the world. But they use it as a device to say how broke we are and why taxes need to go up again and why there are so-called “black holes“.

It is all a myth, covered by gaslighting, and it’s amazing that the media and everyone else goes along with it.
