While Collective West propaganda would love to make you believe that China is in a hard alliance with Russia, and the only reason Moscow has not yet capitulated to the might of NATO and Ukraine is the immoral support of China (and now also North Korea) to the dictator in the Kremlin, reality is much more complex. China has in fact been remarkably neutral toward the Russo-Ukraine war, and it did so for good reasons.

Dr. Yu Bin is Professor Emeritus at Wittenberg University and a dedicated scholar on Russia-Chinese relations. In this talk delivered at the 2024 Neutrality Conference he explains why China should be thought of as a "principled neutral" that remains at arms-length distance from both the Collective West AND Russia.
