Ingredients:

For the Chicken

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

For the Sauce

3 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp honey or lemon juice (optional for tang)

½ tsp smoked paprika

1 clove minced garlic (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

For the Veggies

Lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, or your choice)

Sliced tomatoes

Thinly sliced cucumbers

Sliced red onion

Pickles (optional)

Additional Ingredients

4 sandwich buns (brioche or whole wheat for extra flavor)

Butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice or shred.

2. Make the Sauce:

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey or lemon juice, smoked paprika, and minced garlic until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

3. Assemble the Sandwich:

Toast the sandwich buns lightly with butter for added flavor.

Spread the sauce generously on both sides of the bun.

Layer lettuce, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions on the bottom half of the bun.
