Griffith Observatory virtual tour.

Griffith Observatory is a lovely building worth visiting for the architecture alone, but also offers an observatory, planetarium, an interesting museum on astronomy, excellent views from its location perched on the heights overlooking Hollywood and central Los Angeles, and a chance to visit an iconic film location used in a number of films. As a film location, it has appeared in many films including, among perhaps the most iconic being Rebel Without a Cause and the beginning of Terminator. The views are great and there is a great gift shop plus a cafe, although I have not eaten there. It is located in Griffith Park, and one can reach it many ways. One can drive to it and park but traffic and parking can be problematic. I avoid driving and take the DASH Observatory bus which makes a circuit through part of the park between the observatory and the intersection of Vermont and Sunset, where the is a Metro station, making it quite convenient to get to the park that way. It stops right at the observatory.

About me:

I'm a filmmaker and I like traveling to many places in California looking for the most unique and impressive places to shoot videos. In fact, California is such an amazing state with so many places to visit like art museums and landmarks! But many people don't have the opportunity to visit California because it's very expensive to travel to the Golden State. Instead of traveling, I will take you on a tour to those places and my travel videos will show you a lot of scenic sights and monuments absolutely free on my Youtube Channel.
