Coming Together For Those In Need.
Many of you are aware that some good friends of mine (Gandalf and Rowana) survived a fire at their apartment. They escaped with nothing but the clothes on their back. I have pushed out the GoFundMe link several times on several social media accounts. I am watching the fundraiser closely and we still have not met our goal.
The goal is a very small amount of $2,400. This amount will never be able to replace everything that was lost. It will never be able to replace sentimental items and family keepsakes. It will not soothe broken hearts but it will help with a lot of other things.
Please find it in your heart to donate, even if it is only $10.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has donated, even if I don't know you personally.
I especially want to thank my friends within the Pagan community who are struggling themselves but have found a way to either donate to the fundraiser, or mailed things out, who have sent them cards and have made phone calls to them showing your love and support.
This is what it is all about. Coming together in a time of need. Sacrificing some of our needs to help someone who has no other choice than to start over from scratch.
