(Full Gameplay) Beyond Citadel [1080p] - No Commentary

*spoilers if you read any further*

So this game is created by @doekuramori3496 and is a sequel, due to this and that I haven't played the previous game. I will just be taking into account this game and its story.

To begin, the intro is solid and the perfect tutorial. I love the whole gunplay that this has brought in. Like Far Cry 2, but more technical like Arma. I also love the idea that you have that decision to not have those on. Course I played with it on and at first, I didn't know you had to take out the magazine manually, instead I would drop the magazine by pressing "R" resulting in me losing the magazine. I think a better mechanic would be holding R would quick reload it by dropping the magazine like Battle Bits Remastered.

As we go through the story, everything makes sense. I understand the backgrounds of the character and their reasons. The main characters story is perfect, especially the lore behind the infinite lives. I love stories that do this, like Dance of Cards.

The weapons overall are definitely questionable, some weapons that should be good feel bad, like the assault rifle is worse than the Lever action. If I had to rank them, it would be.

The bosses were not hard, I love that they all had a unique way to fight them and even after all the unique weapons were gone, it still felt like it was meant to be slow because the bosses name was called, "Grimaldia the demon of Patience."

The ending was questionable, you do everything and you then have a choice, but both just end with the same screen. Also, I feel like wall running should have been added earlier or been a base ability rather than being in the last stages. Regardless, here is the rating.

Graphics 5/5: It looks perfect and the whole pixel art aesthetic is stellar.
Playability 4/5: It is great, everything is smooth but when you get double air dashing you will often move in completely different directions that cause you to fly off the stage. Also FPS does go down if their is too many things happening on the stage, do note that this isn't just a me problem with the potato pc. Others have companied about this same problem.
Music 5/5: Perfect mellow to rock to orchestral to slow piano, everything works at setting moods, kind of like halo's music. Like Under Cover of Night.
Difficulty 4/5: It is not hard, but it is not easy unless you think outside the box. More like outside the map, with all these abilities you can most of the time when their is not keys needed to be found.
Personal 5/5: A lovely game, and not just for the boobies. The gun jams and breaking of the guns is such a lost art modern games don't consider. I recommend this to anyone.
