Canadian Photographer Makes Waves with Record-Breaking Underwater Shoot

A Canadian photographer set a record with a deep underwater model photoshoot. Steven Haining and his team went 50 meters deep to capture images on the Hydro Atlantic shipwreck in Boca Raton, Florida. Model Ciara Antowski posed without an oxygen tank in a white gown and black boots. The session was shortened to 15 minutes due to narcosis risks. Haining previously set this record in 2021 and 2023 but lost it in 2023. He trained to reclaim the title with safety and precision in extreme depths, facing rust from the shipwreck.
