Donald Trump: "America is back and open for business"

Trump: "It is also reported today in the newspapers that Saudi Arabia will invest at least $600 billion in America. But I will ask the Crown Prince, who is a fantastic guy, to round it up to about $1 trillion. I believe they will do it because we have been very good to them.

I will also ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to lower the cost of oil. They must bring it down, which, frankly, surprises me that they didn’t do before the elections—that didn’t show much love. By not doing it, I was a little surprised. If the price were to come down, the Russia-Ukraine war would end immediately. Right now, the price is high enough for that war to continue. They must lower the oil price. They could end that war. They should have done it a long time ago.

They are actually very responsible, to a certain extent, for what is happening. Millions of lives are being lost. With oil prices coming down, I will demand that interest rates drop immediately, and likewise, they should drop worldwide. Interest rates should follow us all over the world."
