For more than eight years Democrats have been pushing the line that Donald Trump is the orange-haired, mustache-less second coming of Adolf Hitler and that his election (or later, re-election) would mean the end of democracy in the United States. Yet now that Trump has won a second term, Dems are being incredibly conciliatory to this fascist, with even President Biden saying “Welcome home” as Trump arrived at the White House.
