A Canadian and an Australian Firefighter discuss the LA Fires

Peter R Mac Isaac has being a fighting Canadian Forest fires of years, he's known as wild land firefighter, where as over here Dr Bruce Paix has fought numerous bush fires.

So now, with some time since the LA inferno, what are there thoughts?
Was this just nature doing what nature does, or was nature helped and if so why?
